The WIMAG manual hand winches SW650, SW1260 and SW3000 are constructed with a solid housing, which is completely galvanised providing additional protection against the elements. The winches are easy to run and can be used for both pulling and lifting applications.
The WIMAG winches have an advantage over other manual winches due their large drum capacity. The SW3000 model can store up to 98 metres of 12mm diameter of wire rope on it's drum.
The winches are equipped with an automatic radial load-pressure brake, which holds the load securely and safely in any position. Additionally, the brake operates in both directions, therefore the rope can be wound from both sides. Noise is kept to a minimum due the drum brake: there is no safety catch.
The gear is completely encapsulated, it is also equipped with plain bearings requiring little to no maintenance.
The crank is equipped with a handle which can be rotated, also removed or exchanged even in a loaded condition.
The winches are equipped with a direct drive for rapid winding/unwinding of the unloaded rope, additionally the unwinding of the rope is possible in four directions.
The winches can be simply fixed to a console or to the floor.
The winches are constructed in accordance with the Regulations for the Prevention of Accidents, BGV D8.
Delivered Unit: Winch with crank., supplied without fixing material or rope (rope can be ordered separately upon request).
